snug.bunny Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 That isn't true, lol. She is quite beautiful but alot of women don't look like Beyonce. I think Curvy means different things to different people. Sure. It's called overweight women who are overweight, thinking they're curvy.
Eddie Edirol Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Here's what I've found: guys don't really care that much. Somewhere in between scary skinny and obese is preferred (which is most people). If a girl is friendly and relatively cute, men will be equally attracted to her, regardless of her body type. Not me, woman has to have some kind of shape for me. Curves all the way! Waifs get kicked to the curb. Need stuff to grab onto. Cant do that when she is shaped like a 13 year old boy.
Author DorothyGail Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Sure. It's called overweight women who are overweight, thinking they're curvy. Your opinion.
Author DorothyGail Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Haha, you wish! wtf? if thats what you find curvy, thats fine for you. My brother thinks beyonce is fat. I think hes crazy. My bf says her boobs are too small, to be considered curvy. Its all a matter of opinion.

Unless she is over the BMI index...Then I suppose she would be considered overweight by medical standards (of which some object to regardless).
ShannonMI Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Ok there are alot of threads on this board about weight and attractiveness. So I'm curious as to what men here, find "hot".... So for example are you a fan of the "Keira Knightley and Kate Moss" look or the Christina Hendricks and Sofia Vergara" look? And I know there is everything in between and bigger. But I think curves are in. I don't know many men that prefer the waif look.. I'm a woman and I think curves are way hotter then the waif look. Sofia Vergara is gorgeous.
Hot Chick Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 This type of thread topic will always go in circles and just proves that everyone has their own physical preferences that get them going. Also there is no 'correct' definition of curvy, because there seems to be discrepancy on that, too. What does it matter that one guy thinks that X celebrity is curvy, another guy thinks she's fat, and another guy thinks she's thin? You like what you see, and then go for what you want.
somedude81 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 And why have you kept this a secret? Back off, she's mine! You can go have the women with the big butts. Hi CarrieT, I'm SD81. Let's go to a wine tasting.

If a girl is friendly and relatively cute, men will be equally attracted to her, regardless of her body type. you are correct, for the most part. just as women are with men, personality and style can overcome the vast majority of physical shortcomings. given a 'free pass' and 10 women to choose from, i choose curvy to the point of slightly overweight, honestly, though. as i said in the last thread about this particular subject, "if you don't jiggle a little bit when you walk, you're too skinny"
carhill Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 This old fart likes the curves. I really have no idea what's 'hot'. I don't keep up with that stuff. Carry on.
Ginger Beer Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Curvy ----> CURVY If you don't look like the link, then you're not curvy. That's just slim with wide hips and breasts. Curvy to me is more like this: http://notontheguestlist.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/chrlotte.jpg http://a1.l3-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/113/6fda0e50014b4f9a80e7bf585917deda/l.jpg Also the woman on the right on the 2nd link. I find both sizes very attractive.
Fondue Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Give me Knightley any day of the week. Most women assume assume they're curvy when they're just overweight.Being in shape and having a big pair of twins/caboose is curvy. Most women do not have real curves-- they're just overweight.

I find both sizes very attractive. I disagree. I see excess weight in those two links, not curves.
Ginger Beer Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I disagree. I see excess weight in those two links, not curves. Not really. Neither would be classed as overweight. A preference is a preference though.
snug.bunny Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Not really. Neither would be classed as overweight. I bet you they would... A preference is a preference though. Yes, of course!
kiss_andmakeup Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Not really. Neither would be classed as overweight. A preference is a preference though. I'd be willing to bet that both of those examples would be classified as overweight by medical standards. Nothing wrong with finding them attractive, though.
Casablanca Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I disagree. I see excess weight in those two links, not curves. This is me too, the second maybe not as much, but definitely the first one
snug.bunny Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 This is me too, the second maybe not as much, but definitely the first one Phew, I thought maybe I needed my eyes checked for a minute there. The second one? Hmmm...maybe because she is wearing one of those tight sexy corsets?
Disenchantedly Yours Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I think all body types are beautiful. That woman from Mad Men is beautiful but so is Natalie Portman. They both have are very feminine women. Jessica Simpson is beautiful but so is Kristen Bell. I even think of my girlfriends in real life that are beautiful. They come in all shapes and sizes and colors. One girlfriend is slender with a nice figure that looks good in anything. My other girlfriend has a big bottom but very small on top. Another girlfriend has bigger boobs but a smaller bottom. Women come in all shapes and sizes and I'm glad for it because it is what makes us unique and interesting.
Ginger Beer Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I'd be willing to bet that both of those examples would be classified as overweight by medical standards. Nothing wrong with finding them attractive, though. Well if they are I take it back, maybe they are overweight. Sorry snug.bunny. I think they are nice, womanly bodies though, nice and cuddly. :(

I find both sizes very attractive. No, the woman on the top is definitely overweight. Everything about her upper body (face, neck, arms, shoulders and stomach) shows that she is fat and she has no muscle definition. Look at the difference with Christina Hendricks who has been mentioned several times as curvy. Just about everything is completely different.

Look at the difference with Christina Hendricks who has been mentioned several times as curvy. Just about everything is completely different. As far as body fat goes, their abs look like they are exactly equal, probably Christina Hendricks is even heavier there but the swimsuit covers it up. You can't choose where your body stores fat, your woman is just lucky it hasn't gathered round her cheeks and made her look fatter than she is. My one has a little stomach fat but the arms are pretty much equal, hips are equal too. Actually on a 2nd look Christina Hendricks has a full on gut.
snug.bunny Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Well if they are I take it back, maybe they are overweight. Sorry snug.bunny. somedude81 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Yeah, they seem to be equal in the stomach area. Christina is hiding with the one piece. The arms are different. Another picture. You're right that fat on the cheeks can make one look fatter than they really are.
