That kind of depends on if you're a guy that is into curvy women like Christina Hendricks or if you're into slender women like Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. I found it just as offensive as the statement you quoted. Men can say crude, disrespectful things about women of any weight. It makes me sad that women have stooped to the level of attacking each others' weights, too. We should date. Surely an 8+ here.

Mila Kunis said on Ellen that she promptly gained back 20 pounds after the filming of Black Swan (which I didn't think was that awesome of a movie, but beside the point.) Natalie Portman also lost a lot of weight for the role.

Natalie Portman also lost a lot of weight for the role. They've been slender either way throughout their lives. That they lost some extra weight for a ballerina role did not change their body type. I've always found Natalie Portman to have a ballerina physique. I wasn't surprised when I read she was going to play the role of a ballerina.
