oaks Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I'm going to answer a question that wasn't asked and say that if you sometimes wear glasses and sometimes wear contact lenses it could be a good idea to include examples of each in photos in any online dating profiles. (otherwise you run the risk of not being recognised when you turn up on a first date, which was a problem I had recently. It wasn't a problem with how she looked, it was just that it was unexpected and it took me a moment to recognise that this was the woman I was supposed to be meeting!)

Some people look better in glasses, some don't. Most probably don't. Also depends what the glasses look like. In general, people are probably better looking and better off just getting contact lenses, but not everyone.

Looked very good, didn't detract from their beauty at all. However these girls/women had good taste. We're not talking about your average glasses here, but rather designer glasses or trendy glasses.

I dislike it when sunglasses cover the eyes so that you can't see them. I especially dislike the larger over-sized sunglasses that make women look like a bee or some other insect and it hides their eyes and a large part of their face. I also don't like aviation glasses on women, they make women look masculine or look like Micheal Jackson.

It just depends on what shape and brand you get; some are better suited to your face than others. For example, I wear John Lennon style glasses, and I've been asked more than once where I got them. People have complimented me on my glasses before, even cute girls.
