Will I get billed if I call his cell?

I dont know much about cell phones, so someone that does know,I need your help.Im planning on calling someone on his cell but will I get billed for that call? I just want to know how this works so theres no unexpected bills.

If it's a long distance call, yes you will be billed.

Where does this person live, Patty? If he's not in your area and you have to dial "1" before his number, then it's long distance and you will pay for that.

 

Also, please remember that when you call someone's cell phone your phone number comes up and he will then have your phone number. If it's not someone you know and TRUST, that may not be a safe thing to do. Once someone has your home phone number, they can get your address and last name. Just be careful.
