sleepykitten Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Just posted this in my nc log....ex just text, as i went to re open it so i could read it and post on here what it said, it was already open and i accidently hit reply/send and it sent a blank text!! I need someone to say this is not going to give him some wierd ego boost and make him think i am so distraught all i can do is reply without words....because i am actually ok this week. I have re deleted number etc so cant text back and say, sorry didnt mean to send a blank text-but then that WOULD be breaking nc....... Or it doesnt matter what he thinks.... Or or Or its friday just go home, hair appt at 5pm, get on new pencil skirt, look hot, wear wonderbra, have cocktails, dont fret?

If he replies again, delete it, screw with his brain and make him confused (a blank text will be confusing enough rather than ego stroking). Now whereabouts in London are you going as your sound hot!!!!!

Sure he may feel some aknowledgment but blank messages are confusing and if he really wanted to know your response he would have asked you to clarify. But you didn't tell us what it said

But you didn't tell us what it said He just said "thought i'd just say hi, no news, hope all's good with you. My brother really appricated the card, thank you, it was lovely of u x" So no question to reply to anyway, that and the mistaken sent blank text sent because i was in a flap trying to re read it to post what it said on here earlier, was all about 4 hrs ago, and nothing since. I just hope he thought it was a mistake and not because he thinks I am too distraught to even reply and am lying in a ball crying!!! Just had my hair cut, am in the highest heels possible god I hope I dont have a tumble after a few too many mohitos!! Thanks for all your replies, i love you guys x

Too true, his ego is huge-god knows why though as he is quite puny, I think I gave him a massive dose of confidence the 2 yrs we were together! I seem to do that to guys, build them up, take them shopping,help them look hot, shower them with love,and affection, help with their insecurities then....wham...Bye! Time to do that for myself i think instead.

Don't worry about the blank text as he definitely won't be thinking that you're too distraught to think of anything to say. He will either think it was a mistake or it'll just play on his mind as he thinks "What did she mean to say?". That'll do his head in! Forget the text and have a great night out

Thanks for my ego boost x It doesn't matter if you can spell it, as long as you can say it. Don't try to think about what's going on with him. We all do that - picture our ex's having a great time without us or similar, but in truth we have no idea. Even seeing pics of them on Facebook or something, it doesn't mean their entire lives are full of fun and enjoyment. For all we know, they are having the exact same life as everyone else; full of ups and downs, and very possibly missing us in their lives.
