Have I lost my girlfriend ?

My girlfriend, has told me before that she is the kind of person whom she does not want to hurt anyone and that it is ingrained in her soul.

Lately, i haven't been talking to her and meeting with her because I thought she could use the space and time to herself to do what she likes and also to be at peace with her own life. I respect her that much.

3 months before today, she joined a special interest group, which she said to me she regretted joining. Although I personally disapprove of her joining, I do my best to be encouraging and accepting. She said it wears her out and that tires her. She said she is sorry for hurting me through not spending time with me and I replied with all the reassurance, encouragement and love i have.

She even told me that she is sorry for not making time for me because of interest group. I trust her words and although sometimes I suspect her of lying, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continue to trust her. And to me, I trust my girlfriend with good faith.

However, i did message her on the phone, every now and then and we have short conversations, however it seems to me that she is unavailable most of the time.

Is she acting genuinely out of guilt ? or is she avoiding me for a reason ? if so, what is the reason ?

I did my best to always shower her with love, but have I lost my girlfriend already ? Because if she doesn't have feelings for me anymore, she is not telling me or i guess: she doesnt have the heart or courage to tell me.

Please advice, I am in need of truthful answers and closure.

Maybe she is making herself unavilable to you because you are making yourself unavailable to her:

Lately, i haven't been talking to her and meeting with her because I thought she could use the space and time to herself to do what she likes and also to be at peace with her own life.

Did you ever ASK her if she wanted you to give her space? If not, why would you just randomly assume that she wanted you to cut back on talking to her & hanging out with her?

Sorry but this all just sounds super weird to me. You say that you trust her, but then you say that sometimes you suspect her of lying. You decided to "give her space," and now you're upset that she's not spending enough time with you. Why don't you just talk to her about your concerns?
