I've been haivng a penpal for 3 years. It's been great.

we've shared a lot and even exchanged things like music, presents etc.

 

I've already given up wanting her to be my GF(Before i wanted to) but it's great to have her as a friend.

 

Now, it fills my empty life with no GF and no friends in my real life, but is it good to just live in a dream... meaning, this person is like a dream : a great person, a person that's always there, someone i can share most everything with. Yet she's not even someone i can meet in real life and do those things in person.

How did you come to be penpals with this person? What led you to seek a penpal?
