Easyguy14 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 just the other day I chatted with a really short young woman working in a store, maybe not even 5 feet. Im guessing somewhere around 4'9 or 4'10. I realized that she seemed shy, kept smiling but keeping her eyes low and it made her appear even smaller than she was because she barely looked up at me as we talked. she only kept smiling with a nervous twitch. I felt she might've been interested but insecure because of her height, perhaps? she's definitely the shortest girl I've come across, but she was also very sexy, even if she didn't know it. any other very short women under 5 feet do well in the dating world or you struggle? do men hit on you or overlook you in many cases?

I feel about them the same way women do about men, they're a dealbreaker. I don't like towering over other people so I have no intention of ever dating anyone under 5' 7", much less under 5'.

I like them shorter and thinner, not too thin. Also their eyes are the keys too. If you find a shorter girl your happy with just go for it.

somedude81 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 As a 5'6 man, my range is 5'2 to 5'8 for women, which ~90% of women fall under. The main reason for me not liking short girls is that I really enjoy doing couples dance stuff, and when the girl is very short, everything is just awkward.

For me, they are impractical, although extreme height disparity between myself and the shorter woman would not automatically disqualify her. I stand at about 6'3". Any woman below a 5'3" threshold presents a small challenge of mechanics. To embrace or kiss her, for example, I would have to significantly lower my stance each time. We would also be awkward dance partners especially in the more stunt-filled styles of swing.

I'm a little shortie and I'm sure I've been 'overlooked' by really tall guys before lol!! It really doesn't bother me because I'm not into guys that are too tall for me anyway. I'm exactly 5 feet and the tallest guy I've ever dated was 6 feet. It was a very short-lived relationship for many reasons and height was a small factor lol! Anything under 6 feet is good but 6 feet or taller is too tall for me!

When I told him I like tall women, he said that you can easily find advantages or disadvantages either way. For example, if you're significantly taller than a woman, spooning is MUCH easier.
Stung Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Through trial and error I have discovered that short girls are not my cup of tea, in a sexual/romantic sense. I'm six feet tall and when I was with a woman who was only about five feet, it felt really awkward and, although this was purely in my head, molester-y. However, over the years most of my female friends have been short, for whatever reason, and none of them were desperate or lonely. Plenty of men liked them just fine...but a few of them did have some minor complexes and wished they were taller, thought it would make them more mainstream attractive. Everybody wants something they can't have.

Heh, why do I get the impression that you didn't read my post at all? As for what short girls like, beats me. I just hate seeing girls that are shorter than me with guys that are much taller than me.

It's somewhat like a guy with a tiny penis who will only date women with at least a D-cup.

Not all but I have seen this dynamic play out many times. I'm only 5'6 and my ex was 5'0 tops. I love short women especially if they are curvy and sexy. Latina women tend to be the shortest lot. It brings a smile to my lips. Besides, I don't want any women taller than me or even my height. The tallest I'd go is about 5'3 as with the shortest about 4'10, since my other ex in college was 4'11.

Yep, at 5'8 ive had women around 5'2 or 5'3 call me short or tiny as if they live vicariously through their tall boyfriend Sometimes theyll say they dont want to be the same height or a little taller then their man in like 6 inch heels What's next? women are gonna start wearign stilts and not date anyone under 7 feet? Anyone can have preferences but when you pic an item of clothing over a potentially great guy you are pretty damn shallow
