1Dunno Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I've been extremely busy lately between work, study, and just life in general. Which has meant that I just haven't had time to think about the ex as much, and she is occupying less and less space in my head each day. It feels like I'm slowly returning to "normality". Even when I do run into her at work, I'm less affected by her wild mood swings which can go from very friendly to completely ignoring me. So now I'm just ignoring her most of the time with a polite hello if the situation dictates. I wish that she knew how great I was doing. I know it sounds malicious, but just to rub it in her face that I'm doing well without her. I know that wanting to do this probably indicates that I still have some emotional attachment to her. But I'm putting on my humble cap by not making an effort to rub it in her face. Number one because it'd be obvious, number two it wouldn't achieve anything (she wouldn't suddenly want me back... not that I'd take her back), and number three, it's just a waste of my own energy. Thanks for listening LS. Your thoughts are always valued.
