Shion Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Hi this is just a rant but please read. Yes I've fallen again for a girl who will never, ever reciprocate my feelings. It hasn't happened for a long time and normally I have to see the girl looking at me or something to make me fall for them but this girl was so easy on the eye that I fell as soon as I saw her. It annoys me a lot since now I'm going to feel painful feelings of rejection again as I slowly find out more about her and that she has a boyfriend (they always do don't they?) and that she likes doing things that I don't like or whatever. These feelings will soon pass but everytime I go through this process I feel as if I've taken a bullet and the more I go through it, the more frustrated I'll get over time. It's so stupid that it's built into me to be attracted to people who will never in a million years return my feelings. She's 5.5 years my junior but her eyes are bright and magnetic and her general demeanour is always so happy which brightens me up. I expect a few responses saying how negative I am but after going through this process several tens of times, I see it as just realistic. Is there any way to make the feelings go away more quickly and without so many negative feelings of rejection? Even now I'm subconciously looking forward to the next time I can be in the same room as she is and it's driving me crazy! I hope this gets posted and I appreciate any comments.

Attraction is a just a trick played by nature - an optical illusion. Look past the illusion and you realise all you're attracted to is flesh and bone - nothing more.

Are you taking any action to get rejected? Or are these just false assumptions you make in your head from just looking at girls?
