For several years it has been like this. How do I get her out of this friend zone and get her interested in dating me?

Seriously, if you've been dating other women and having girlfriends throughout those years and she's been a close and loving friend, IMO value that greatly and set aside any dating aspirations for good. You deserve someone who loves you *and* is attracted to you. That's not her.
