Yes, some of those guys have amazing bodies, but then theres 5 others who have amazing bodies, a 6 figure salary , and a BMW. That's why they go for older women who A) Don't have as many men competing for them (in our minds, in reality you probably do) B) Don't care about money and other things as much. A find an older woman finds more different types of men attractive than a younger woman. I have never gotten any sort of compliment from a female my age, yet I've gotten a few from women in their 30's and 40's despite all my shortcomings that young women claim make me undateable.

I'm middle aged but I frequently get contacted by young guys, some of whom are very attractive physically, wanting to meet up. I always turn them down as I think it's a bit weird and I doubt their motives. But something really puzzles me. Why do they do this, approach women so much older? Why would a handsome guy of 21 be seeking out a middle-aged lady? The guy would have so many options with women his own age. I really can't see what he'd get out of it. I had a conversation online with a young guy recently. He wanted to offer me his body but I declined. Once he realised I wasn't going to meet him, he offered to send me pics of his body. He was utterly convinced I'd enjoy looking at them. Again I declined. Why would he do this? Are these young guys essentially seeking validation of their attractiveness and manliness? I can't see any other reason why they'd be so keen to persuade an older woman to sleep with them or look at them. When you answer this question, you will have simultaneously explained the phenomenon that is "chat roulette" in the process.

Never heard of that before. Actually, if the photos are true (and they look pretty authentic to me and other things fit), some of these guys are drop-dead gorgeous. They seem mostly to emphasise that they like older women (well, they usually say 'mature') and have always got on better with them. They feel they are more mature than other guys their own age. They say they have dated women my age or slightly younger before. They seem to think they have something to offer me and want to please. They genuinely do seem to want someone to talk to and, quite frankly, are a lot warmer and seek to be emotionally close than guys my own age. One did admit he'd been an escort in the past but he wasn't asking for money or suggesting he would charge. He did seem keen to persuade me he was more mature than most guys his age though. If their motivation is purely sexual, then I can't see why these guys don't choose pretty young women near them. Oh yes, thanks, Carhill. I agree, and I'm very careful to check out what I can about anyone I spend time chatting to and I also look out for anyone who is basically trying to 'play away from home'. If you honestly think these young guys are all about the emotions (which I know you don't), then you're going to be very disappointed.
