I'm middle aged but I frequently get contacted by young guys, some of whom are very attractive physically, wanting to meet up. I always turn them down as I think it's a bit weird and I doubt their motives. But something really puzzles me. Why do they do this, approach women so much older? Why would a handsome guy of 21 be seeking out a middle-aged lady? The guy would have so many options with women his own age. I really can't see what he'd get out of it. I had a conversation online with a young guy recently. He wanted to offer me his body but I declined. Once he realised I wasn't going to meet him, he offered to send me pics of his body. He was utterly convinced I'd enjoy looking at them. Again I declined. Why would he do this? Are these young guys essentially seeking validation of their attractiveness and manliness? I can't see any other reason why they'd be so keen to persuade an older woman to sleep with them or look at them.

Because they probably think all you can get is middle aged, flabby, grey haired men and they probably think they're way out of your league and by showing you their body you won't be able to resist a much younger man.

They always say I am, of course, but then that's probably all soap and flannel There must be younger women near them who would jump at the chance of going out with guys like them. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps they think I'd be more appreciative than girls their own age? That's a bit of an assumption.

They are probably playing a large numbers game and making the same offers to a broad age range of women, or they could have a legitimate thing for older women (lots of men do despite the stereotypes), or they could find something about your profile that they like, don't sell yourself short!

OP- i think it's mostly a fetish, and nothing more (as in, these boys aren't looking for a serious relationship).

Maybe they appreciate a more mature and experienced woman. Or maybe they know just how to act to get into your pants. Guys believe that pictures of nude guys make women feel the same way as pictures of nude girls make men feel. Because you are a woman i will describe you the feeling. When a man looks at pics of a nude girl, he gets turn on and he wants to mas...te. It feels good to mas...te for a guy. He has no idea that when you see nude pics of men, you do not feel like mas...ting at all. So, he believes that you cannot help mas...ting when you look at his nude pics.
