For the first few days, I was like Miss Popular, with a lot of messages coming through and IMs. I even went on a date a few days after I first signed up. Then it tapered off. I find that even though a lot of people say they're looking for that special someone, they don't show it. Or maybe I'm not what they're looking for. The replies are like boring and they don't a lot about themselves. Someone even dropped me a one liner and said he just got home late from work and had to hit the sack. Should I look elsewhere for love? Anyone else feels this way too?
green_tea Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Yes I feel the exact same way. I tried online dating for about a year, and don't think I'll ever try again. I met someone in real life, so decided to delete all of my profiles. That's now ended, but no way I even remotely feel like looking online again. It was so much hard work, and so many weird, desperate people on there. I know it works for some people, but I'm just not cut out for it.
