Confusedgrl Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 I am finally over my ex. Time does heal! Thanks for the great advice, and remember time will heal. It depends on the person how long, but at the end it does. So if you lose hope, just trust me , it will get better!
Tony T Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Thanks for the heads up. I suppose hope is all some of us have, except for those who have to clean the bathroom.
zephyr Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 That's wonderful Confused! Time does seem to have a healing effect on a bruised heart. The initial period is harsh but eventually, things DO get better. It's commendable that you were able to come away from it all with such a positive attitude. Kudos!
Confusedgrl Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 Yeah. It took me a long time though, but it finally helped. 4months to get over a 7month relationship, but I finally feel okay. I don't cry, and I don't need him. He is the one that missed out, and why would I want to be with someone who doesn't love me! I know for some of you it may seem like you will never get out of this. I have felt this way to, but trust me you will. You will become a stronger person, and learn that you don't need your ex in your life. I wish you guys all the luck! Keep your hopes up!!

Confusedgrl Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Yeah you will want him back for awhile, but you will realize that you deserve someone who will love you till the end. Don't worry about him. There are plenty of fish in the sea! Go fishing .

confusedgrl Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Hey. I know the feeling all to well. To be honest I go through it as well. However, with each day passing the feeling of missing him lessens. You learn to live without the other person, and start to realize you deserve something that will last. Remember, just to let it be...and if it was meant to be it will. If not, life has other plans for you, and that relationship was just a stepping stone.
