The ex didn't say hello or how was i doing just "can i get this back please it means a lot". I didn't respond until today and just said "sure no problem" and they said "thanks" and that was it. It's funny though that it was exactly 4 weeks to the date *and* time since our last text. Please advise. Not going to do any texting. Just curious if it meant anything. Oh, and I was the one that was dumped...
gbadboy Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Make sure and return whatever it is they need. Keeping it from them out if spite will make you look unclassy and bitter. Given they didnt even have the decency to say "Hello" in their text, I wouldn't give them the satisfication of returning their stuff to them in person. I would instead have a third party return it on your behalf. If its something personal that's between you and your ex then wrap it up in a gift for god sakes and have a thrid party arrange with them to collect. As tempting as it is to use this as an opportunity to meet them again, don't. Just remember, this thing they want back means "so much to them" well guess what? Saying a simple "Hello" in a text means "so much" to you as well! So if they want something back, thent hey should be cordial about it.

They were very important but you are right, not even the decency to say hello or anything. I think she intended on us going through a 3rd party but that was the plan on my part anyways. I haven't received any other texts so that was all it was. Thanks.
