Do people typically know that they are going into a short term relationship beforehand or is it just something that happens? -Some know and plan it that way beforehand, for some it's just something that happens 6. Do you consider a short term relationship to be "exclusive"? -I would always talk with the guy, and if it was decided we were just having fun, no commitment, then I always let them know that all I asked is that if they want to start sleeping with someone else, that's fine, but I don't like to share like that even if it's a casual relationship

Is that generally a rule that applies to having "casual sex"? It doesn't seem like partners typically go "exclusive" so early in the relationship. The answers partly depend on the gender. I am a female. 1. Yes 2. 1 day - 4-6 months 3.FWBs 4. No, (but if I were a man, I would say "Yes".) 5. Most females do not know, most males know. 6. A short term R can be exclusive (no other sex partners at the time)

Yes time) Okay, I have the same question for you as I had with the other person. Is the third date rule referring to "casual sex"? I ask because 3 dates is awfully fast for an exclusive relationship.
