NoReallyThatHappened Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 because I'm getting married!!!! :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny: I have been divorced for 5.5 years and I never thought I'd find someone who I would totally trust, who was my best friend, and who would make me really, really, really want to get married again. We aren't exactly following the traditional timeline, but we are doing what works for us. It's a second marriage for both of us so neither one of us care if it's totally traditional anyway. The ring has been ordered (special order, takes a while). I narrowed it down to a couple of choices but he went back and had the final pick. I have no idea which one he went with. I found a beautiful Watters dress on craigslist in my size. I took it to be altered today. Yay! The decision has been a tad bittersweet since my immediate family has all gone on to a better life (I hope anyway). I haven't had those moments of squealing with my Mom or celebrating with my family, but I am content knowing that I have chosen a wonderful man to be my family for the rest of my life. :love:
