hmmm...I have this girl i have in my dance class, i like and we get along well. I have known her for 3-4 weeks now. We have been chatting on fb and msn and doing a little bit of texting, and been on a date to a dance social, where we got along well and flirted.

Currently, she has gone on a placement as part of her university degree for 2/3 weeks. I have texted her a few times, and got 1/2 responses. She is enjoying herself in her placement. i don't want to seem creepy/clingy or annoying by being too forward while she is having a fun time. What should be my next move?

(Should i ignore her for the 3 weeks, so we can start again when she comes back? or keep in touch, and how many times in a week or so? other options? ADVICE?)

I enjoy the girl's company, and i hope we have something. We are both pretty shy people in general, if that helps.

I might be overthinking it, but please No silly replies. I am new to dating/flirting in general, so be kind and genuine :D

Also, if you have any other advice so i have a better chance in general, please let me know?

It does seem that you two have a good connection. I definitely wouldn't ignore her for 3 weeks, but I wouldn't text her every day. Maybe 2 times a week or so. You don't want to smother her, but you also don't want to completely let her go. When she comes back, ask her out on a date to talk about what all she did. It strikes up a good conversation topic and you get a date with her out of it!

Good luck!

Definitely hold off and give her some time to breathe and process. If it's happening between you and her, she'll initiate. Try (as hard as that may seem).
