Desensitized Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Hey everyone, like the title says, I think she lost interest. I don't know why, I didn't do anything wrong, I don't think. But anyhow, she just stopped texting me; I'm the one that has to initiate contact. Anyways, should I cancel the date, or give it some more time? She said she was interested in me before and thought I was cute, but how could she all of the sudden not be interested? Sigh...
ja123 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Don't cancel the date. Some people just don't text all the time once they've made contact in "real" life with someone. I'm like that. I prefer to keep my relationships out of texting. Be patient. Don't overthink and see how it goes.

Although, girls initiate texting if she's really comfortable and likes you or you're in a friend zone, which doesn't apply to you. However, IF she doesn't engage in any kind of way and you have to drag things out of her, this is a bad-bad sign. See how the date goes, but by hearing how disappointed you are, I think you have to drag responses from her. If you ask her a close-ended question and she just goes "yes, no", that may be bad. See how the date goes.
