SJC2008 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I am trying to stay positive but it seems like I just can't catch a break. Met another girl and we're talking. We are pretty busy so it's going to be hard to get together but that's not the problem. The issue is that I am a Christian and I just found out she is a Mormon. I won't let it stop me from dating her but I would like to meet a Christian because if the planets ever line up and I get married and have kids I would like to raise them as Christians. Anyone with interfaith dating experiences?
FitChick Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 It's only a problem when you have kids and each parent demands the kids be raised in their own faith. One of you will have to convert.
thatone Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 or if one is atheist and doesn't care. that's the situation i'm in, she's catholic, i'm atheist. if we wind up married with kids years from now and she wants them in catholic schools and what not that's fine by me, and from what she says fine by her as well.
