OCCDAVE Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I had date thursday it went well and all.i called friday i was told by ls now leave it in her hands.well.nothing saturday but sunday i woke up to a text from her.heres how the convo went hey how are you Im good u good.sorry i didnt return your call the other night i said its fine Hows ur day look Mines good going to.a family bbq Cool.i.just woke up awhile ago can i call you in a sec i just woke up plus i need to get ready for church so after that i stopped calling cause i felt i came off as clingy?
Imageiko Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 As a general rule I'd never ask for permission for trivial things like can I call you or can I hold your hand etc it just comes off as needy/weak. I'd say it's going good? She initiated a conversation which means interest. I'd look to set up another date soon if I were you.

My head is killing me. I think my body is tired. Ive been out every night this past month. I need to rest today bc im not sure how wild my students will be tomorrow. Ill need all the energy I can acquire. Aka get lost ?
johan Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hard to say. Didn't seem clingy to me. It's clear her enthusiasm isn't very high for dating right now. Maybe it would be higher for someone else. Or maybe she just doesn't have the time or energy for it. I'd just leave it up to her. She knows she's put you off a couple of times now, so she'll have to take responsibility for the next step. Stay open minded about dating her, but put your energy into dating others.

Plus, she could be the type to expect that from you. Leave her alone for a bit. Let her think about why you're not calling etc. If she's into you, she'll be texting you sooner than you think.
