I've been told to ask her out for coffee, but I don't actually drink it. I was thinking of asking her out to a bar for a few drinks one night, but not sure if that's the way to go. Suggestions? smudge21 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 More info needed - how do you know her, is she younger/older, where did you meet, do you have mutual friends, do you work together, what do you know about her hobbies and interests... Basically, from what you know of her should suggest to you what would be best to do for a first date. Try subtly asking her where she likes to hang out or if there's any food she likes more than others, movies she wants to see... that kind of thing. You do know most coffee places also serve tea don't you?

I'm 22 and she's 27 I think. Don't know too much about her interest/hobbies apart from she's into Heavy Metal music like me. Yes, I'm aware coffee places serve tea also . Not a fan of tea either though.
