LZ2000 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 (edited) Thanks for reading my post and giving me good all rounded advice. My girlfriend and I are in very good terms now. Initially we had a fight but I made the effort to go all the way to apologize to her and we are in a really good stage in our relationship. Our relationship progressed to become a more intimate one which sometimes gets a little "naughty" at times. In truth I say, I never felt so privileged to be in such an exclusive and private part of her life. Ever since then, i have always been the one generously giving her small little gifts which I have felt did make her day a happy one. However, she has been rather busy with other pursuits in real life and has set a good amount of time for it. She admits to me that her other pursuits made her feel stressed most of the time and I make it a point to support and comfort her the best I can, and to give her happiness whenever I find the opportunity to do so. Although my girlfriend really sometimes is negatively affected by her other pursuits, I respect her choices in life and decide that she should live her life with her own free decisions without my interference, at least not for now (i dont want to be too specific with her pursuits, because I respect her privacy and don't want to reveal it, but it's nothing illegal, controversial, unethical, life threatening to others or herself). Note also that, she makes time to speak to me and do stuff together, and I'm really happy with that. So, my question is this. How can I maintain this wonderful situation in my relationship with her ? What is my role as a boyfriend now ? Is there anything more I can do ? What else can I improve about myself to be a better man in this current relationship ? Is there any general advice that you have you can share with me ? I would appreciate all forms of honest feedback and advice. Thank you for your effort taken to type it all down here !
