This thread is more lighthearted, I think - for the most part.

Some things can help with PMS, and we do tend to recognize it. Just feel lucky that you don't have to deal with the internal dynamics of that every month - sometimes things help, sometimes they don't.

well... you ain't no GUY, but I GUESS I can talk to you about it.

yeah, I would say in my old case there, I DID actually have to deal with it. Not physically, but the whole chemical imbalance thing ended up affecting me as much as it did her. I'm not running it down or anything, it's part of life. But MAN it can be CrAzY!!! getting on birth control really helped her out. itw as like a serious mental problem for a few days every month. Poor thing. I truly felt sorry for her durring all that.

ok. I'm done! toss me that cigar. and speaking of wine that is not here, I'm sipping on RED ELECTRA CALIFORNIA MUSCAT right now

The husband of a family friend, has marked down the days on which she's most likely to be PMS'ing, as a warning to himself and her son. They're extra nice to her on those days, and they save her and themselves misery. :)

It makes me queasy.

You and art reminded me of this guy. :)

I read his book last Thanksgiving, and he talked about the rule that had him trying to avoid anywhere a menstruating woman had been seated. His wife was so offended that she sat everywhere she could think of. He got around it by buying some sort of cushion to carry around with him.

I don't think you did. :) People just pop in and out. It's a fun thread, that's all - a nice little corner, with nice people, away from the more heated threads.

So quiet.

I hope your nerves ease, cerri. Valerian has helped me, but then it can depress you after a while - not good. ;)

How about chamomile? It used to leave me feeling hung-over, but if I drink it when I'm anxious, it takes two mugs of it to calm me down.

Flower essences sometimes help, too. I like these.

Thank you for thinking of me, Anela. :)

I'm so fretful I'm willing to try new things if it means getting sleep.

I'll give the chamomile another go and also that brand of flower essences for any related anxiety.

I'm tired of Bach's so thank you, Bunny.

Man Cave, we need to sign up for The Amazing Race.

Please pair up.

You know very well I threw my iPhone against the wall, then lost its twin in my bra.

I envy anyone who sleeps deeply. I'm a really light sleeper. And then there are the times when I finally get comfortable, and one of the dogs walks up, needing help to get onto the bed. I actually whimpered back at one of them, a couple of weeks ago, hoping she'd get the hint, and just lie down on the floor.

I do love them, though. They're all snuggled in now that I'm up again.
