cerridwen Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 You have every thing a man could want - muscles and a moustache. Yep, the university. Might call them later today and badger them for a response. It'd be in Oxford this course (at Brookes, not The) which is a nicer town than Cambridge. Either that or distance learning, but where's the fun in that? No fun at all. Here's hoping they respond toot sweet. It's be a shame for them to thwart the education of such an impressionable, wide-eyed young man.
Author betterdeal Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Pretentious? Moi. Heard back. £6k a year fees! I might do a plumbing course instead. Can you hold my wrench for me while I check your pipes?

Author betterdeal Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 Art Moriarty. Don't worry, we can make out when he's not looking. Cancelled the Beemer in favour of a pair of tickets to Flozza and the Machine next March. Priorities, priorities...
carhill Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Live at Donnington in the disc player. Angus Young FTW. 1.75l of gin. Reading 'Winning', the history of Paul Newman's racing career, a guy I came to admire watching at the track. It's Sunday

Cancelled the Beemer in favour of a pair of tickets to Flozza and the Machine next March. Priorities, priorities... March? *checking calendar* Put me down as a "maybe", baby. Won't be in London until the Olympics. Free? We need one more member for our synchonized swim team. Live at Donnington in the disc player. Angus Young FTW. 1.75l of gin. Reading 'Winning', the history of Paul Newman's racing career, a guy I came to admire watching at the track. It's Sunday Rock your Sunday, Carhill. Paul Newman is the most beautiful man to ever exist, IMO. I was ushered immediately into puberty the first time I saw him. Mixing your gin or straight out of the bottle?
Author betterdeal Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 March? *checking calendar* Put me down as a "maybe", baby. Pencilled in. Won't be in London until the Olympics. Free? We need one more member for our synchonized swim team. Already booked for Team GB. Too. Much. Pizza.
carhill Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Mixing your gin or straight out of the bottle? Gin and Schweppes, no lime, on ice. The book has been such a good read that I ordered up the DVD of the movie Paul and Joanne made back in the 60's, which got him started in his racing career, of the same name, 'Winning'. I always respected Paul's modesty about his talents and that he didn't tread on his 'name' at the racetrack. Google 'pln racing' for more on that, and some really great history on the 'other' career of 'Butch'. At another extreme, I'm always amazed how a little 5'2" half-naked man with a guitar can take 70,000+ people into his hand and . Wonders of the modern world.

But it is Angus Young you are talking about CH.. possibly one of the best guitarist's of that era or ever.. My whole cd changer in my car is filled with AC/DC... love'em.. my wife looks at me funny when I play them..hahaha It's either that CH or the fact that 69499 of those 70k people are stoned
cerridwen Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The Raiders are being spanked viciously by Green Bay. And here I sit, a fan, in my Gwar outfit, demoralized. Ptp! Where are you?!
cerridwen Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Here's to 2012! Nice! I stuck a pacificer in my mouth, put on my Smiley Face tee, dropped some E, and had at it. Here's to 2012 and you, Bd. Any men in here watch Gold Rush:Alaska? No? Really?! Come on!

Author betterdeal Posted December 16, 2011 Author Posted December 16, 2011 Planet Earth was fantastic. Just been watching the latest FP episode and there's some startling facts about how the climate and ice has changed over the last century. Poor old polar bears

ptp Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 <rant> You know what I dislike most about LS...it is that on this board a woman's idea of sexuality is the only right one. When did the "right way" become the only what women think? Sexuality is different for different people and unless you are at fringes of it (which are illegal) by and large there is no right or wrong. Why is how I approach it wrong? It isn't; it is just different. It bugs the hell out of me how these women on here expect all men should conform to their ideas and label guy who dis agrees with them as chauvinistic. </rant>

Have you gone into the Sex Forum much? I prefer talking about such matters in there where more balanced and respectful perspectives are posted. In the Dating forum, it's...different.

I prefer talking about such matters in there where more balanced and respectful perspectives are posted. In the Dating forum, it's...different. Glad to see you too. I have been feeling depressed recently. The Bears were rolling looking like one of the best teams....then we lost our starting QB and our staring running back and proceeded to lose 3 straight games... Then to add insult to injury the Bears got Tebowed last week:(. That felt like a swift kick to the nut ****. I just had to get out that rant. Certain female posters get me riled up. Unfortunately after being part of a couple forums I have tried really hard not to troll/post negative comments. Thus I can't get drawn into conversations with them. So I needed a relief valve and figured the man cave would be safest place.

So I needed a relief valve and figured the man cave would be safest place. You figured correctly. Rather than post while riled up, I just verbally respond (sometimes a blue streak), thus getting it out of my system AND staying out of Tony's handcuffs. Try it! Hey. I thought of you the other day because of the Madden Turducken video. Madden impersonations kill me everytime. But the reason I thought of you was because someone quoted his saying of "That guy's all hardware and no software." Wait. That didn't come out right. I'm not saying YOU'RE all hardware and no software. I'm saying Madden made me think of you. Anyway, sorry about your Bears.
