While most guys I know appreciate a landing strip and the effort, it is also about keeping hair to the minimum during menstruation thus managing the smell and general 'cleanliness' easier I bathe daily... and clean all the parts. Never, not once, have I EVER worried about my smell down there at any time of the month. Although, I believe that regular exercise, drinking lots of water, and not smoking tends to create more pleasant smells overall. Plus I'm a vegetarian (I read somewhere that people in some countries think Americans smell obnoxious because of the heavy meat eating). This is something I've noticed in men too. Heavy meat eaters, heavy drinkers, smokers, etc... they don't 'taste' or smell good to me either.

I know of women who have managed to make it look so perfect. I tried watching a porn from the 70's but I felt disgusted with all of the hair going on. Most men are simply over the moon to finally see or gain access to around there anyway. Of course there are always the picky types, but this is where you need to stand your ground.
