TheDovic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Ok, so my ex dumped me 7 weeks ago. Initially we were seeing each other every day and I was very clingy. After a few weeks of this I got my head together a bit better and started making myself a bit less available but she kept showing up at my house (well on two or three occasions). I then went No Contact for two weeks but she kept texting for silly reasons i.e. she wanted to know if a letter was sent to my house for her. After two weeks of this we seen each other and she started crying and threw her arms around me. Since then she has called at my house a few times and texts me every other day (at least once a week saying "we should have a DVD night or something). I NEVER initiate contact! When she texts she is flirty i.e. calling me pet names and making fun of me in a playful way. When we see each other her mood changes drastically several times between being flirty, crying and acting distant. She cries every time we see each other! I know this all sounds positive but problem is when I make any forward movement she backs away. Then yesterday she text to say she had cancelled the venue for our wedding. She had agreed to cancel this and I had agreed to cancel our photographer, so I don't know why she felt the need to let me know she had done it. Does anyone think she's still interested or am I just kidding myself?
Space Ritual Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 why do you even have her number in your phone still....
Kendal Pierce Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I don't understand, with such behavior like this one, you can get yourself agree to even marry her? She does not even know how to be sane, at least from the way you painted her on your message. If her behavior at this point in time annoys and you are still not married together, then you are lucky enough to have a good chance not to give yourself a big heartache in the near future.
flitzanu Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 you're no longer her boyfriend, you're now her best friend. you should be NOTHING to her if she dumped you. stop talking and seeing her and start blocking her out. she chose to dump you and chose not to be with you, so quit letting her be with you. what are you going to do when she mentions banging a new dude?
Chi townD Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 She was trying to invoke a response from you. If you want her to stop stabbing you in the back, then stop giving her the knife! The only way you should entertain ANYTHING from her is if she shows up at your door crying that she made a huge mistake and she'll do anything to get you back. Anything else...and you're just wasting your time.
Author TheDovic Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Thanks guys, you're all right btw... Think it's time to move on! (Fingers crossed!!!)
