DB Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 I have been dating a guy who is kind, considerate, caring, loving, sexual, etal. BUT he constantly looks at other women. He seems unable to control himself. Especially when teenage girls come in to view. They can be real or television images. He does that "eye thing" where the head remains straight forward but the eyes are shifted. What gives? Why won't he, or can't he, stop?
bluechocolate Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Is it possible that you're being overly sensitive about this? If I see an attractive person I'll look at them. It doesn't mean I'm going to cheat & it doesn't mean I'm even thinking about cheating. Having said that a little more discretion and sensitivity on his part is not too much to ask for. Have you talked about this with him?
Author DB Posted May 5, 2004 Author Posted May 5, 2004 I have thought about what it is that really irks me about his behaviour and it is that he is being sneeky and doesn't seem able to control the urge to look even after being spoken to about it. Wherever we are he has to look. What kind of need is being satisfied? Why is his focus mostly on girls 20 to 30 years his junior? Why must he be secretive? I can appreciate beauty as much as anyone. This appears to be nothing but lust.
LILUIL Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 I think it's harmless. All men tend to look.... all human beings tend to look but as long as he does not reach out to pinch the cute waitresses butt or anything, i think there's nothing to worry about.... I guess it's not something that can be stopped. Men are made to naturally do that.... Chill gurl!
