We both were in our 2nd year of college at the time. after hanging out for a while i gained the courage to tell her that i like her and she said that she liked me as well. Near the end of the year i asked her out. She said she definitely would go out with me if we hung out more but since the year was almost over she wanted to wait. I have seen her a few times in the summer and i think that i have fallen in love with her. We havent kissed yet, she asked me why I havent made a move yet and I just said that i wanted her to be my girlfriend first. Now with 1 week to go until school starts again thinks have gotten a bit rocky. I tell her how i feel about her all the time (havent told her i love her) but she says i am being too needy and seems to be losing interest. I have been nothing but good to her and I would do anything to be with her but im not sure what i have to do to make it work.

People usually go on a few dates and at least share a few kisses before they get into an exclusive relationship. At this point, she doesn't even know if there is any chemistry between you. How is she supposed to know if she wants to be your girlfriend?

dizy Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I would suggest you to ask her out on a date alone and clarify things. you want a relationship and she said that she wanted to get to know you, so you want to know at the very moment that you are talking, what does she think of you and how much time does she thinks she still needs in order to "get to know you more". girls are not aliens =) they are like guys, ie not very interested? hum.. maybe he/she can wait a bit. dont always be available and nice, show her that you have a life and it's ok if she doesn't want to date you. people don't appreciate things/people that they get too easily , it's human nature =\. goodluck
