In the beginning he was very passionate and romantic, constantly calling and texting, taking me out on dates and buying me flowers. On our third date (within a week of knowing him) he even told me that he feels very strong for me and is falling in love. In the past week or so, I feel like he does not pay so much attention to me anymore. Now we only see each other once a week and he doesnt express his love and affection anymore. He has become a little distant. We still talk on the phone almost every night but he stopped sending me text messages. He says he is really busy but I do not know. He was also 1 hour late to hour appointment this weekend due to an emergency at work but he didnt let me know. What could be wrong? Is he losing interest and why without a particular reason?

You already asked this question except you told us an extra important detail which now you seemed to "drop": Last week I called him and told him that this relationship is not going to work because we are too different. There was also the part where he said he loves you within 2 weeks and after you told him it's not going to work, then the part with his cellphone being off... Do yourself a favor and don't paint a situation in different colors than what it is. You came here to get an honest answer to give us an honest question.
