BrittanyB23 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Just recently my and ex and I agreed to have nothin to do with each other. We broke up almost a year ago but have been in contact ever since and still being sexual thus not allowing me to get over it. The entire time however he has been talking with another chick who he is interested in being in a relationship with so I'm trying to stop attempting to be his friend and just let it go and he knows that, yet he's such a social person that he keeps trying to be "cool" with me and I'm not ready for that at this point. It's been 3 days since we last talked, but my birthday is coming up in a few days and I'm almost positive he'll text me to wish me a happy birthday and then ease his way into asking how I've been, blah blah. I still have feelings and am trying to really get over this but I don't want to be mean to anyone who wishes me a happy birthday. If in fact I do hear from him, how do I respond?
Nohbody Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Block his number if you don't want a text from him. No Contact requires that you be pro-active as well as reactive so that you can get the most out of your healing process. Or so I think.
magnus mateo Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 No contact. You do not respond. If you respond now, you will always find a reason to respond later. Stay strong. Focus on you. Focus on your goal of getting over him. Hope this helps. Good luck!
