PyroBunny Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Hi Guys and Girls! So here is my story: A month ago my company sent a group of 15 graduates on a team building exercise for 5 days. When we arrived there I met a guy (for the first time), he is also a graduate from another discipline and he is almost 2 years younger than I am (not a problem for me!). We were placed in the same team and got along really well right from the beginning. He would joke around with me, sit next to me and on the last night before the end of the course we both sat and chatted around the fire late into the night (all the other people went to bed). The day after the team building finished he arranged a party for all the people on the team building and texted me that he really hopes that I can make it and that ‘I’m an awesome girl’. At the party we hung out and both me and my one female friend (that I took along) were the last to leave. After that we exchanged a few texts (he takes forever to reply) and emails. He openly flirted with me and in the emails made it very clear that he is attracted to me. The first weekend he came around for coffee on the Friday and we ended up kissing a lot While we were chatting he mentioned his ex-girlfriend and how she just used him and he spent so much money on her. I just listened and commented that not all girls are like that. The two weeks after that he would say that he would try to stop by and see me, but he never did (he works in the next town – about an hour away). He also did not contact me over those two weekends. So I decided – screw this! – and did not email or text him the whole week. On Saturday he sent me an email saying ‘hey stranger, how’s you?’. We chatted for a little and then I left work and went home. That night around midnight he sent me a text saying that he just came from work and wanted to stop by for coffee. Me, being so eager just to see him again (hadn’t seen him in 2 weeks by that time), said yes and he came over. So we chatted and drank coffee and he ended up sleeping over (we did not have sex, but we made out). During the visit he again mentioned that he likes me and that I am awesome. This visit was last week Saturday (21 Aug). I have not heard ANYTHING back from him the whole of last week, the weekend and so far, this week. I did not constantly text or email him, I really wanted to but I’m scared he is going to find me clingy and needy. I never forced him into making plans or scolded him for not coming to see me. I know he is quite busy with work but so am I and I can still make time to email and text people. So in my opinion he has no excuse not to contact me. I’m just starting to feel like a ‘go-to’ girl when he has nothing better to do and that he is just using me. What makes it worse is that he was so awesome on the team building, he is super nice, funny and intelligent. And he (in my opinion) is drop dead gorgeous. That is what is killing me right now…I really like this guy and for the life of me I don’t know what I did wrong – if I even did something wrong! Can I text him and ask him for coffee or just to hear ‘what’s up’ or should I just wait and see what happens or maybe just accept that there is nothing going to happen between us… I would really appreciate some feedback and what you guys and girls think. Thanks!
