It was, specifically, a movie party where the host has a few parties every few months and he invites others over to watch movies on film on a screen he sets up either in his studio or in the backyard. I ran into someone there who I had seen last summer, we said hello last summer and not much else. He told me something kind of, well, strange I guess. He said he remembered me from last summer being at the same party, but he left the situation all pissed off. I asked why he was angry, he said he was there with some other woman who was not his girlfriend but felt that maybe I thought she was his girlfriend. I was a little baffled by this, I did not remember his being their with someone else but I just remembered we said hello by the table where they kept the cheese and crackers. But I remembered him for just that second or two. He said he did want to get to know me a bit better back then but did not approach me any further thinking that I thought that the woman he was there with was his girlfriend (which he now says, was not). All I could really say about that was "Oh, ... Well, sorry there was that unsaid miscommunication then." But did he make a move then? When he did not have another woman with him so there was no debate whether or not he was attached? I was with another guy there, but this guy and I are always together and are well established close friends rather than bf/gf or husband/wife as we have always been mistaken for by a casual observer. No, he didn't make a move towards me then either. What just happened?
madjac74 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 It sort of seems like he needs you to make the move. He was obviously making hints toward being interested in you but really didnt know what to do with it. Maybe he needed you to wave him in with red flags like you were landing a plane.
