lana_sa Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 My ex and I broke up(he broke up) as friends, and then we had a fight and both said terrible things(he started)..since then we havent had any contact(1 week)..im thinking about going NC for 3 months and then when its all settled down to make contact again Is it a good idea? the NC part is not hard for me,,its more the fact i didnt talk to him for a week and its a long time we used to talk every day
linea Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I would continue with the NC but don't necessarily set a time limit to it. If he hasn't contacted you to be the first to apologise then, yes, wait three months and see if you still want to talk to him. If he contacts you to say sorry, reply if you feel he's sincere and if you want to.
Chinook Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I would say, set your 3 months time limit... but chances are, you will have moved on by then.

I kinda hope i will because its really his fault,he should apologize,,,thats why i have this 3 months limit,so i can make it without contacting him...im sure he will regret what he said, but im unsure if he will take contact...firstly,he will not dare and then he is also "very proud"..thats why im not sure if i should contact him and give him a "chance" to apologize Anyway, the 3 months thing seems right now as the best solution.i think i will have time by then to move on and then start all over as friends and maybe something more with time
