Buttercup84 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 From what I see , the dumpers seem to have a new love within months . What do you think ?
delux Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 From what I see , the dumpers seem to have a new love within months . What do you think ? female dumpers usually have new "love" within days or weeks
shayla Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 They find someone while they are still with you. Once they are firm with the other woman they suddenly dump you.
solobeary Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I think my ex will get into a relationship sooner than me. But unless he has the best luck in the world, my next relationship, whenever that does happen, will be a tonne more meaningful and healthier.
kismicallychal Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 When my ex broke up with me, after 3yrs of dating, I was the first to start seeing someone again - after about a month! In hindsite I did so just to feel have someone clearly appreciate my personality and find me attractive - the typical rebound? My ex the dumper wasn't dating/seeing/or even going out after 3months. I think it really depends on the type of ppl both of you are. Before I got into a r/s I was into going out with friends and being social, my ex not so much. So when we broke up it made sense for me to get back into that and for him to throw himself back into work *shrugs*
PegNosePete Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 The dumper is often preparing for the dump and checking out of the relationship months in advance. So it's not that it's quicker... it's just that they have a head start.
karf Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I started dating my ex 2 weeks after she dumped her boyfriend of 2 years. We ended up being together for 4 years until she dumped me. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd started dating pretty soon after we broke up - there were a number of guys following her around.
FinOuch Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 female dumpers usually have new "love" within days or weeks Men do that too. Just sayin'... The dumper is often preparing for the dump and checking out of the relationship months in advance. So it's not that it's quicker... it's just that they have a head start. What he said. There's a reason the dumper did the dumping...whether it be that they just aren't invested in the relationship anymore, have already met someone else, etc. Whatever the reason for the break up, they've already come to terms with the end of the relationship long before you come to grips with what the heck just happened.
ConfusedT Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 always a reason- wish i knew what the reason was? since i was PERFECT (haha in my own mind I guess) & he took me for granted!!!! i digress... i think they do get in relationships faster, because of what everyone below has said... they are already disconnected from the relationship, as we the dumpee are bombarded with the instant breakup! Not fair, but reality.
just_scott Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 well some dumpers have a new budding relationship while their still in a relationship.then they start to pull away from the original relationship slowly ,and put focus on the new relationship . SOMETIMES the dumper has ended the current relationship in their mind way before they tell the dumpee it's over -like they just go through some motions with the dumpee for a while before they actually end it ,happens a lot ,they start healing when in their mind the relationship is over before they tell the dumpee
Nohbody Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Some people go from one relationship to another. Whether someone was dumped or dumped someone else probably bears less importance than the fact that some people are afraid to stand on their own two feet and be alone. My opinion.
ConfusedT Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 just- just like my ex. had a relationship, while he was in a relationship. noh- i agree. i think some people cannot be alone. theres a number of reasons, but i know their childhood and experiences while growing up have a lot to do with it.
stillafool Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 From what I see , the dumpers seem to have a new love within months . What do you think ? Most dumpers (male and females) usually have someone else already waiting in the wings.
Ginger Beer Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Most dumpers (male and females) usually have someone else already waiting in the wings. Sad but true.
