eastcoastgirl02 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I "met" this guy online. We ended up texting for a whole evening getting to know each other. We seemed to have a lot in common, and comments were made about meeting up for a date soon. At the end, he commented on talking again soon. Fast forward 3 nights, I sent him a text asking him how he was and I got no response. Now there is a lot of reasons why he didn't respond. I don't think he purposely was ignoring me due to how he was in our previous conversation, so I'm not too concerned about that. My only thing is I don't want to look desparate or needy. If he doesn't text back anytime soon, how long should I wait until I attempt to send him another text?
sweetypielovely Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I think that a simple text back after you text someone is normal. If days pass Id send one more and if no response then chalk it up as he changed his mind.
make me believe Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I wouldn't even bother sending him another text. He knows your phone number, he knows you texted him, he will respond if he wants to. No sense in chasing after him if he doesn't.
CambridgeGirl Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 unless he has fallen down a well, he knows you texted and hasn't responded so far. I wouldn't chase him, leave it.
