I have known my husband for well over 16 years on and off. We dated and went our separate ways we reconnected 7 years ago. I had been married and divorced and he was married going through a divorce. So he told me. Well needless to say he told me all this terrible things about his soon to be ex. I mean down to her looks. Well I moved here after he files for divorce. Things were great. He claimed he was happy to have a woman that appreciated him that liked to have fun. After a month of bliss my world came to a complete stop. All that he had told me was a LIE. He was apologetic he would do any thing to have me in his life he would lie to me again if it meant he would have me. He would do anything to prove how much he loved me. Lol well let's fast forward a few years I lost my Job my kids live With us and money was tight. He didnt want to support my kids and I any more. He told he didn't love me. He wanted to be free and clear just to be single and the care of himself and his kids. This same situation has happened like 4 times since. And he started dating a girl he worked with as well as trying to get with his ex again. Am I stupid to be here to be trying to make sense of this mess. He says he knows he's at fault but he just don't want to be married. But he thinks I'm sexy beautiful and possibly the best thing but not for him. And why does he tell me he never loved me and then a few weeks later I'm sorry I'm childish I want my marriage to work. What do I do I am very much fed up and I do want out how do I let go. And walk away like he is without caring.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

It sucks, I feel bad for you, but chances are that he won't change, and the possible irony is that one of the things that might get him to consider changing is the consequence of losing you forever, because, up to now, it sounds like you have inadvertently helped positively reinforce his behavior.
