alurasorcha Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) Basically; I met this boy Conah last year on holiday and he has been my best friend ever since, we have spent endless hours on the phone, and I lost my virginity to him, but recently i went to stay at his for a few days. But on my last night his best friend stayed over too. We had quite a bit to drink and me and Conah's best friend Rob ended up making out. Feeling guilty we both told Conah in the morning. He ofc threw up a argument. Fair do's. He has said I am his soul mate and he loves me. He want's to put it behind him and he is still fine with Rob. But i cannot stop thinking about Rob, i enjoyed the kiss, and Rob has so much in common with me. He makes me feel alive. I don't know wether its a silly crush and to move on and stay with Conah or try with Rob. It is so confusing and both options will cause problems. I mean you and your bestfriend have been haniging out for quite some time and this new guy came in. Of course you were excited. Learn to weigh things. Who do want to spend your days with?
Menafee Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 You just have to figure out if this Rob guy is worth losing your bestfriend over. Do you even know anything about Rob? If hes the dating type or just a player? If he would even want a relationship? And if Conah really is his bestfriend if he would lose his friend for someone he just met? I was actually in this same situation 2 years ago. I was ready to lose my bestfriend for someone else. But thankfully i found out the other guy was a jerk before i lost my friend. We are now engaged and im happier than ive ever been. I almost made the biggest mistake of my life. Just be sure your prepared to lose conah for someone you just met. and make sure he wants the same thing as you do.

He did tell be before communication stopped he had been sleeping with someone new and that was a week after this whole thing.. so...

But I have found as day's have gone on, that Rob want's to date me, and I have asked around my friend's who are friends with him and his ex's and they all say he is a good boyfriend, and are still more than happy to be friends with him. Also as you can see above as i told ronald, that Conah has stopped talking to me, and has already found someone else. Him and Rob still seem fine, and Rob is coming to stay with me next weekend. Also Me & Rob's sister have been talking and she tells me Rob is very into me and she truthfully hasn't seen him this happy in a long while. But thankyou both for your advice it has helped me. x
