patagonia Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I actually don't know if she's a player or not but it was a good line...I figured I would jump in on the over analyzing of things since I have nothing better to do Long story short-- About 3 weeks ago I friend requested a girl on fb that I went to elementary school with. She friended me, we exchanged a few wall posts and then she initiated contact through a fb message. We continued our fb messages for a week or so and then I asked for a number(last monday) She gave it to me. I gave her a ring that night because she was going on vacation(no i don't care about the waiting game) she didn't answer. Texted me back a few hrs later saying she was packing, sorry to miss the call and that she looked forward to talking soon. Yesterday I texted her wishing her a good time. No response. Today I jumped on fb and she had messaged me. Asked how my weekend was and thanked me for texting her. Made some small talk and ended it. Going by her messages previous and her texts from last week I thought she was interested, and since she gave up her number, I figured that was also true. Is texting a guy back intimidating? Maybe she doesn't want to send the wrong signals? Doesn't want to bother me?? Anybody got any ideas?? I might give her a hard time

I might give her a hard time I think you are over analyzing and possibly like her too much at this point. She was just about to go on vacation, and you guys haven't hung out yet. I would just play it cool for now. Don't' send any more messages and just see if she responds. Generally in the dating game, less is more attractive.
Author patagonia Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Is she on vacation now? She was on her way. Messaged me from the airport. Yes I know I'm over analyzing, that's what I said I was doing I replied to her message and she replied back to mine again...I think she is just screwing around...just likes the attention! But I will keep playing it by year.
