Own your freaking actions. It would take an incredible lack of tact for me to say that I was moving around money, mostly for my son's benefit (or some equally trite reason to make myself seem less selfish).

I strongly recommend books by the Harleys, especially, Dr. Harley. He is known building marriages. Just google him and his books.

"my spouse will understand, they treated my like xyz anyways." "I won't get caught because I am not stupid or sloppy like the other people who cheat." "I am entitled to this because xyz. This isn't like the other people that cheat." Just like the people that start smoking knowing that they won't get hooked. One time won't hurt.
