Quite honestly I don't see what's so attractive about most of these people, but the NY Post deemed them the most popular online daters in the city. Stephanie Serr (photos 7 and 8) is probably the hottest, but the rest of them seem bleh, especially compared to the usual talent I see at nightclubs and other hot spots.

jealous much ?

Honestly to me it seems like besides their profiles being written well their pictures are also great...

It isn't always about how hot someone is IRL.. but it might be about how they come across in a picture..

Brad Pitt in the wrong picture looks ugly as hell, but throw in a good camera and photographer and boom.. he is smoking hot...

Take the picture of the Evan guy where he is leaning up against the wall.. incredible picture...

none of those guys do it for me, not because they're not attractive enough or anything. Just don't like the vibe they give off.

I wonder how much actual research was done into finding if these are the most "most wanted".

Did you read the number of emails in each of their in-boxes

I wonder how they would have access to this info though?

I would rather be a successful online dater than popular.

I'm sure they didn't actually have access to it.. someone had to tell them.. either the dating site or the person.

Journalism is all about research...

Easy, the writer goes up to their friend/acquaintance: "Hey you are dating online right?"

Friend: "yea why?"

Writer: "How many messages do you have?"

Friend: "IDK, maybe a couple of hundred but its mostly ads for porn and Viagra?"

Writer: "Ok cool, do you want to featured in this article I am writing?"

How many emails are in your online dating inbox PTP?.. the truth..

Never done online dating, friends say it is waste of time for guys.

Yet you come onto a thread about online dating and start ripping apart the article...

You ought to try OLD.. I met my wife on match.. it can work...

I would never believe any of those profiles, if they were that successful, good looking and well off, they would network so much they would meet new people all the time. Definitely smell a rat.

Yup of course I am going to rip it apart, there is no basis for what they are claiming. I don't need to have tried online dating to rip apart an article because I know how to think for myself. I know how these "most eligible bachelor" type articles are often written.

Maybe you are right maybe you are wrong regarding online dating, I haven't needed online dating yet and based on what some of my friends have told me I am not really eager to try.

Yes... stay off of OLD. I did it for awhile because I live in a small town. Mostly made me feel that anyone who does it is a loser... especially the men.

You don't want that rep...

I agree... The only 'successful' online daters are the ones who never were online or aren't online anymore... because they found someone... duh!!
