Im 18 and have not dated since about a year ago because i have had to concentrate on studying etc and really not thought much about it but my high school formal is in 2 months and i really need date. Now, theres this girl that is like insanely hot who is in my tuition class and i know for sure she is into me and i really want to ask her out to my formal but i have some real problems. Firstly im not sure if she has a date already(assume she would coz she is the bomb but you never know) or has a boyfriend so im scared to ask her out to even a date to gradually get to know her and ask her to my formal. I was in a steady relationship for 3 years with my ex before my hiatus from the dating scene and she was introduced to me so i have never actually asked a girl out coz i thought she would be like my forever but not to be boo hoo. So could anyone give me some advice with the issues that are holding me back from asking this girl out? I know she likes me but im too afraid that its too late and that she already is seeing someone and has a date to the formal. Should i ask her if she is seeing someone before i ask her out? Or is it better or the appropriate thing to do to ask her out first bravely? Is it too late to ask someone out to a formal? Im not saying girls should do this but even a girl has a bf is it possible for them to ditch them if courted by another guy she finds more attractive? Like is that a consideration for a girl? Finally would a girl accept a formal date only after a few dates? Im in a real hole i need a date to this formal but im lost any advice would be greatly appreciated!
