My ex-b/f and i have known each other since 2006..we became best friends and then a few years ago we deceided to become more than friends..Well everything was going great until one day i found something in his email. Then i found text messages between him and other females. I know i shouldnt have been going through his email or his phone, however i have trust issues..due to my past relationships of others cheating on me. So now we are trying to work things out and move forward and get back to where we were in the beginnning of the relationship when things were good. I just need ideas of how to do that and what i can do so we can be happy again...Any help/ideas/feedback would be greatly appreciated...Thanks:)
Barrsitter Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Ask your BF if he really wants to be with you and tell him that if he does, he has to give up contacting other women (not friends) and ex-GFs. If he doesn't like that idea, move on. You need to have more self-respect and not put up with men who cheat on you. Too many people don't love themselves enough or are not friends with themselves. So they look to others to give them the love they could give themselves. Then they put up with crap that no self-respecting person puts up with. If your BF wants to move ahead with you, that's fine. But you need to set the ground-rules. If he doesn't want to live by them...that's cool. You'll have just to let him know that you'll be leaving. As for what to do...try counselling. If he won't go....you have your answer.
