ok,i posted a problem earlier before my 'i understand i have to change' sayin i get really insecure over stupid things that really dont matter so i thought id get down to the point and just ask people advice on how i could stop obsessive paranoid thought of other girls bein more appealin to my bf than me.becoz i get paranoid i let him know about it wen he tells me hes goin out,now i know hed never cheat on me but im very insecure so im always driven to talk my mind just to feel better yet to get bad results i.e him gettin pissed off.so can anybody help me and tell me how i can stop being paranoid about stupid things that aint even ther? i want to learn how to b cool with him and let him hav his life while i try and find sumthin for me to do.but how? replies are more than appreciated thanx,. :o

Read the threads by Thinkalot. She and some others here have been battling the same issues.

it doesn't matter what forum you post in, this problem of yours still has to do with how you place value on yourself... your emotions and actions are coming from your value and self-esteem. have you done what i wanted you to do in my other post yet? don't make me get on my broom and come find you, cutie ;)

Actually, Rick, several people on here who have trouble with obsessive thoughs actually have OCD and are being treated for it. It's quite possible this person has it as well and, if so, no lecture, no matter how eloquent, will help.
