dok2ofillionaire Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 the title says it all...I am a korean guy, raised in America for over 8 years and I came to America when I was only 9. Therefore, I am very Americanized. I know that I am good looking for an asian because I am very confident dating asian girls especially koreans. I am also 5`10, which makes me pretty tall for a asian...I am also not scrawny like most of asian students..I am normal and have wide shoulders. I was really wondering if there are any caucasian girls interested to date korean guys? and I am a high school student who doesnt have a car..going to college next year...Does this workout as a disadvantage for me to date white girls? My confidence disappears when I talk to white girls...?help?

When you say white girls I assume you mean white American girls? Well in modern day America with the younger set of white girls, it comes down to the triple D's. Dollars, dick, and what you drive...they wont admit it, but its true!! I dont even think they even realize it. How would a white dude fair in Korea...South, not North..That little bastard is crazy!!

Also random tangent: I don't know why you say you're "not scrawny" like most of them; the average Korean guy was not scrawny (tall and thin) nowadays. Maybe back before they had milk when they made bark stew for dinner and always went hungry because all they'd known for decades was war and poverty, but without malnutrition, they never seem particularly tiny to me. Also, little known fact: Koreans are the tallest Asians, ftr, on average, and that's even factoring in the older generations who are very short, generally due to malnourishment in their early years.

While average height for guys in Korea is only 5'7'' (lower than the U.S. overall by a couple inches), it's dramatically skewed by men over 40. Men in the OP's age range IN Korea are quite frequently 6 foot tall and probably average similar to American males, if not taller. Milk and enough food to not be hungry = much taller Koreans nowadays. Average height of Korean females has already overtaken average height of American females, I believe.

I find it kind of interesting that you use the general term of "American" for white people and "Korean" for the OP even though the OP has lived in America and been an American citizen for over half his life. Hangout with white kids instead of just hanging out with Asian Americans. Dress it like white kids, play like white kids. If you want to date an average white girl, obviously she won't feel comfortable hanging out with bunch of asian friends, eating pot stickers. there are few white girls who just go for asian guys. But they are usually nerdy and might not be your standard. again, just make many white guy friends and you will be able to meet some girls through that social circle
