xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Since I was trying to talk to others about this and I was asked to start a new thread since I was on another person's thread so here it is. Ladies and Gents what would be your perfect first date, where would you go and what would you do??
donnamaybe Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I wanna play! My sweety and I had some lovely first dates walking along a nice walkway next to the lake here. Coincidentally it takes you by some nice restaurants that have stairs right up to the back doors. We walked a few miles, holding hands and discussing how glad we were to be past the stage of having young children (after watching a few families going by ), had a nice dinner together, then walked back while the sun was just beginning to set. It was wonderful!

counterman Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Dinner at a seafood restaurant near the beach, followed by a stroll at night on the beach... and, if we can set up a campfire, sit around and enjoy each others' company and watch the starry sky.
Professor X Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I had a few cool first dates so far (with different chicks): 1. (day time) Started off riding on our horses to a far away place (ok, not that far lol, about 20-30 minutes ride) and set up a picnic there. 2. (night time) Went walking in middle of some forest and ended up on some higher location, laid down and watched the stars (or well, we were making out haha!). 3. (night time) Walked on the beach, sat down in an isolated location and stared at the sea/stars. 4. Wasn't quite a date, but that's how I hooked up with one of my exes: She came over to my place and we were watching some Disney movies.. Made out pretty much after (we saw Lion King).
Cee Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 My first date with my current boyfriend was special. It started with coffee and then he wanted me to show him my neighborhood. I gave him a tour and then we stopped at a pub for a beer and shared an appetizer. The nice part about the date was that we had the time to get to know each other on a Sunday afternoon. It happened in the dead of winter, but somehow I remember the weather as warm and sunny. I guess the company was.
sally4sara Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I like themed festivals. Like Ribfest, Octoberfest, Jazzfest. No entry fee, lots of sampling of the different kinds of whatever the fest is dedicated to, and even if it isn't a musicfest there is usually live music performances. And since they are outside events, they usually happen in good weather. The scenery is always changing and something about them just keeps conversation flowing. They make great places to take a date.
Curtcrispin Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Before dating you should try to decide a lovely place like beach..... I love to this place.

Oh ribfest! Haha every single year that happens in the town I grew up and it is MADNESS!! I always liked the Last Fling more because they have comtemporary preformers like Train, Collective Soul, and Gavin Degraw. If you go to Ribfest at night to watch a preformance this year was Styx and Areo Speedwagon prepair for drunken moms gallor lol!!!!
donnamaybe Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Areo Speedwagon Did Aerosmith and REO Speedwagon form a union when I wasn't looking?
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Did Aerosmith and REO Speedwagon form a union when I wasn't looking? I can't spell lol!! Sorry I don't even know any songs by them.

Some of the really good ones sometimes have an entry fee, but I agree. Awesome choice. I love festivals.
donnamaybe Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I can't spell lol!! Sorry I don't even know any songs by them. There ya go! Now Aerosmith is my all time favorite classic rock band.

sally4sara Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Some of the really good ones sometimes have an entry fee, but I agree. Awesome choice. I love festivals. My hometown had tons of them. I don't remember Styx playing, but hey, REO Speedwagon is still putting out albums (one WITH Styx even! :lmao:) and selling out arenas. They'd never play a festival. They're like the American version of the Rolling Stones or something. Because my hometown was set up with a bunch of boroughs dedicated to different Euro countries (German Village, Dublin, Victorian Village, Little Italy) and the main part of downtown was saturated in Greek restaurants, there was always a bit of a competition over which festival would be the best that year. Plus every summer there is a big Community Festival (Comfest) for a week with dozens of bands, performance art, plays and CCAD art students selling their work. All FREE to get in!
Feelin Frisky Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 My first date with my first LTR was perfect IMO. We had dinner in Chinatown in NYC. Then went to dance club/concert hall The Ritz and saw Steel Pulse and danced for hours to perhaps the world's best reggae and steel drum band. Then I took her home and we kissed for the first time. That last for two hours. I had a restored '68 Buick Riviera with no console and a lot of room to mess around. I pressed her close--we remained fully clothed--and she quivvered and busted a nut. She was embarrassed as hell and never came like that before. I went home and when I got out of the car, I had true blue balls and it hurt to stand up. What a beautiful night.
kimchi84 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 With my ex, one of my perfect dates.. When you spend morning to night and back into bed with her. When it last all day long.. IMO Cuddle in bed as we are trying to wake up, one thing leads to another.. and fall back to sleep for another 45min. I bring her coffee.. wash up.. have breakfast..load the car and head to the beach for a whole day.. tanning, eating, drinking, singing in the car on the way n back.. sit under the stars.. return at night have wine in bed and watch a movie till one of us falls asleep....or not.. I love spoiling them..
