Hlep Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I recently started dating this awesome girl about two months ago- I've already lost count the number of times we've gone on dates or hung out. We're both done with college, and in our twenties. We've slept together several times, and we text or chat almost everyday. I really like her a lot! I think she is absolutley amazing obviously. However she said to me she doesn't know how to react to my complimenting her, or some of the things I say to her. I recently told her I was "falling for her" after an intimate moment. She told me she isn't used to people saying those things to her, and later in the day she texted me she wanted to keep things light and wants to keep seeing me- and would explain further next time I see her. She said she isn't ready for a super serious relationship yet. I really like her, and I'm not sure- but maybe is this a good thing? I'm trying to process what she means. I guess I won't know until we actually talk, but I always try to prep myself for the worst. She had also mentioned that her most recent relationships hadn't been that great. Perhaps I am just rushing things? What do you guys think? Thanks for reading.

bluenightowl Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Dumped yet again.... uggggghhhhhhhhhhh I always find it strange that she could get so intimate with you and then ask to go slow as well after your compliments and words. I think if someone is really into you, you can almost say no wrong. I suspect she was just trying you and perhaps someone else out and you telling her these things forced her to make a decision.

This is my belief as well....if she is really into you, short of coming off as creepy or being a jerk, there isnt much you can do to screw it up.
