Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 Yes!!!! It's like the girls think it's better to walk around with a spare tire around their waists than admit they're not a size 4. My peeve: wearing boots during the summer. Women in NYC are loving this for some reason this year. Even on 90 degree days you'll see a host of girls with skirts or shorts and leather combat boots. It's absurd. I think it's that whole "indie/hipster" look that they are going for. I don't get it but whatever!! I wear like ankle booties with a heel, that dosn't count right?

Actually, one of my pet peeves----sorry Danielle----is ankle boots without leggings or pants (just with a skirt). I only like taller boots with skirts. Tight, cropped, knee-length jean shorts on guys are horrible, and we can blame hipsters for that trend!

It's because they think that a tight ass is sexy! except they forget that the fat wheel just above kinda draws all the attention! the wrong kind of attention, lol And don't get me wrong, I like a bit of meat on my woman, but what those girls do... is just wrong.

Boots in general are awesome but the sight of them on humid days...ugh. I keep imaging how clammy and sweaty - not to mention stinky their poor feet must be.

My favorite are camel leather that I wear with a white linen dress with the same colored belt, Lol. I hate a lot of plaid shirts!! One every now and then is fine, I think on guys more so. But there are just SOOO many and to make it worse people wear them with feather earrings and torn denim! I don't like the look on me really at all!! I am more a dress, or jeans without rips and a shirt weather it be button down or a tee.

I think plaid looks good on guys, but I don't really dig it on gals either. I tend to wear dresses or dresses/tunics and leggings most of the time. I am not a fan of those feather earrings. I don't think they're ugly, but they are freaking EVERYWHERE. I'm not a fan of the fake flower barrette in the hair thing either.

That's what I say!!! lol http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/dries1.jpg That is like something I wear except the shoes are ankle boots that are peep toes in that color. Lol I love wearing skirts and dresses to class cause if I wear sweats I will fall asleep lol!! Plus most the time I live in jeans!! That as bad as your ankle boots?!?!

I love my flat black leather boots in the winter!! I could live in those and my converse!!
LoveandSuch Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 If you got Cankles, please do not wear stilletos, any high heel, or ankle necklace, it just draws attention to them, not pretty!
LoveandSuch Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Is it Kanckles or Cankles to equal no ankle? I know a few men personally that this is a deal breaker for, although I do feel bad for those with them, do not think there are surgeries for it.

I know a few men personally that this is a deal breaker for, although I do feel bad for those with them, do not think there are surgeries for it. I have no idea if there is a surgery for that! I think there may be, I have had to have my legs in casts for physical therapy and it made my ankles even smaller. I think it is kind of a dumb deal breaker lol! Wht it is is baisiclly the ankle and calf blend together, my opinoin it is dumb! Lol, especially if she can't help it.
LoveandSuch Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Yes, it was a deal breaker for them, ewww, how nice! smaller with a cast, although the pain. Men can have them too, and it looks worse than women, because they usually have these huge man calves, straight into foot. Lol. I saw a woman out the other night with absolutely no ankle with the highest heel i have seen in awhile and it just was not pretty.

Haha it didn't hurt for me but it was necessary because I always walked on my tippy toes (thank you ballet) good news is I can wear 4in heels and not get sore and I can run and dance in them.

I love heels, and could wear them running if necessary, lol. The worst is watching someone who cannot quite walk right in heels, uncomfortable, and as if they were a linebacker. The same walk when straight men wears them for a costume party or joke.

I have made people (guys) run in heels for dares lol! I can sprint, and dance for hours in heels. I love the people at weddings who are taking their shoes off an hour in, I keep my heels on all night!! Except for when it was pouring rain, we had to take them off to get to the cars otherwise we would be ankle deep stuck in mud.
LoveandSuch Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Speaking of heels,it just made me think of another fashion blunder. ~Do not wear stripper shoes outside the club, the platform ones with the seven inch heel and jeans, reallllllllly bad! Nothing against your profession, but keep the costume and gear in the club and do not mix it with your evening and casual real life attire. The worst.

I could never wear HUGE platforms, especially in my job/intern positon. I am walking around chasing animals so I need either flats or max a 3inch heel.
underpants Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 When will this microwave oven trend be over?
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 When will this microwave oven trend be over? That one I don't know! Sorry . Who else hates the harem pants?? I call them hammer pants.
Crabbies Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Skin tight jeans on guys. Oversized sun glasses. Um, can't think of anything else. Fake breasts. I hate fake breasts, keep them natural no matter the size. that screwtop-caught-in-a-storm-then-frozen-in-gel-look... the general feminization of boys/men... wearing skinny jeans and lots of pink, can't get me head round it.... preening waxed, plucked men:sick:
LoveandSuch Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 When will this microwave oven trend be over? Men need not to use the microwave. Cold chicken does not need to be heated on High for 5 minutes. Gross!
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 This isn't new but, I still hate it: $4 cups of coffee. WTF it is just a cup of coffee with some whipped cream why is it $4? lol I don't drink coffee!! But I know people who do and they agree. My friend swears by gas station coffee. He has had me try them all and I still hate all coffee. It is all he drinks, thank goodness there are 7 gas stations within 5 minutes walking from campus so he drinks them all.
OliveOyl Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Coffee has one of the highest markups of any item. It probably costs $0.25 to make and costs $4.00. That, and soda and popcorn at the movies.
