Negative Nancy Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 One trend I don't understand at all has been "in" for about 2 years now. I've seen a lot of men and women in their 20s and 30s with this hairstyle that looks like someone just dumped a bucket of water over their head. Is it called the "drenched" look? hahah how funny the way you described it i think it's the emo hairstyle lol...is this whatcha mean? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RFv-ZsjaG28/TcDxkutz9tI/AAAAAAAALEg/2r6fZNk3yt4/s1600/scene_emo_hairstyles_for_boys_emo-boys-haircut.jpg lol how about this "trend": http://latestweddinghairstyles.com/images/Hairstyles_Pictures/Emo_Hairstyles.jpg http://images-cdn01.associatedcontent.com/image/A2027/202773/300_202773.jpg http://www.eanext.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/18f14_Emo+Hairstyle.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ZeETSmlCvyk/TLhJklwkPhI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/KIlkxql0va8/s1600/very+cool+man+hairstyle.jpg what irks me is that big ass ear tunnel, like this: http://media-pe.bei-uns.de/b/3u/pj/kmw2l0o4s44488owoc8gw-1.jpg unreal
ptp Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I take it, you like your women with hairy bushes.... Oh, you don't? I blame porn movies for this. The girl in the movie has everything waxed of and her snatch looks like a 9 year old girl's vagina. Men go nuts for the girl and think thats what girls should look like. ............... this isn't a tit-for-tat. Your complaint doesn't invalidate my complaint. FTR I am more than okay with a landing strip.
OliveOyl Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) Women that are not overweight, however wear very tight jeans very low on the hips causing a love handle where there would not be any if the jeans were not so tight. I totally agree with this. And showing the midriff if there is any kind of flab. Too common in my area. Why??? And actually. . . Diamond wedding rings! I guess not a trend since it's been around for quite sometime now, but I think they look stupid and real diamonds usually involve cruelty/synthetic diamonds seem cheap, and I just don't understand why they've caught on so well over the years. Do you mean engagement rings, or the actual wedding band? I thought diamonds were a classic/tradition. What is the alternative these days? I'm guessing they caught on because they are generally colorless (hence go with everything) and extremely hard, hence "last forever" like the love is supposed to last... I know someone who has an emerald engagement ring. I LOVE pearls but apparently that is bad luck . I think colored rings are pretty, I like the idea of it being more personal, like the color of her eyes, or her birthstone. Then again I am into cheesy stuff!
wezol Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I'm a guy but, Guys that wear their sisters jeans and belts....I mean, really? Girls that wear skirts or shorts, with cowboy boots.....why? My biggest, men and women that wear their spurs out in public. They are NOT that damned hard to take off. How do you even drive with them? I forgot once, and went to drive home and instantly remembered I had them on. I would give my exwife crap for wearing hers in public. So unless you rode your horse to the store or restaurant, take the damn things off, cause it looks like your just trying to show off that you ride....hey news flash, 80% of people in my town ride....it's not that much of a big deal. Men with pierced ears. Women with too many tattoos, and all tramp stamps. Wome that think showing off their thong is sexy. It's cool in porn, not in real life. Fat women that wear tight khakis that show off their cellulite. It looks like someone hit you with a bag of hot nickels, stop it. As another poster said, flat billed hats with the tags and stickers still on. Rip that crap off, no one cares how much your hat cost, or what size it is. Are you really that lazy? I understand the fashion of the hat, but take the dangling sh*t off. Aviator sun glasses....no.

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WAXING HURTS?!?!?! I can barely wax my legs because my skin is so sensitive and thin that the wax burns it and then I am left with scabs and it hurts!!! You go get waxed then talk about how badly it sucks that we like waxed chests!! I personaly don't mind chest hair, I prefer to not feel like I am next to Justin Beiber (he scares me)
wezol Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Oh and everything emo. Your life is NOT that bad, and yeah I know you're just trying to be different....just like everyone else.
Ginger Beer Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 From what I recall, they aborted their attack on Facebook since they claimed to be "for the people" so why would they attack millions of innocent people they claim to stand for? Where did you hear this? I hope it's not true.
Tasha49 Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Low-rise jeans on women that create muffin top!

I'm guessing they caught on because they are generally colorless (hence go with everything) and extremely hard, hence "last forever" like the love is supposed to last... I meant engagement rings in general. I think they're silly. And I especially hate diamonds. I could maybe abide a different kind of engagement ring with a stone, but I'd prefer not to have a ring (just a plain band when I actually get married if I must to prove I am actually taken; though my cousin and her husband have matching wooden bands he hand-carved, and THAT would be awesome, and hers does have some pretty turqoise in it; I could go for that). But since you mention it: bands with gemstones? REALLY hate them. Even worse than engagement rings. And what's even worse? Right hand rings. I kind of hate proper jewelry of all kinds though, too. But I'm aware my hatred of it is totally rare and weird.

No I have never gone waxing but, I did watch the I don't have a desire to get waxed. It just annoys me that media portrays the male ideal to look like pre-pubescent boys. I hope women don't think real men look like that. I never have and never will pressure a girl to get waxed or do something she isn't comfortable with and I certainly wouldn't reject her because she didn't wax or whatever...

Everytime I got my eyebrows done I crieda dn legs hurt just as bad.
zengirl Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Re: waxing. . . Whether you're talking chests (guys) or bikini zones (gals). . . you can Nair that stuff. Really. It has always given me almost the same results as waxing only needs to be done more frequently and was the same for my exBF's chest hair. (Though I did prefer when the exBF trimmed instead of Nairing. . . a perfectly hairless chest for too long on a straight man weirds me out.)
Casablanca Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 So, the muffin top is the trend? That's what I refer to Pierre's description as....I like to think it's more of a phase of denial from some women than an actual trend.
KR10N Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 A few people seem to be getting a little personal w/ these complaints. lol. Men who wear baggy pants. No one wants to see your underwear. Southern men are guilty of wearing their hats like incompetent idgets. People who stick unnecessary amounts of chrome on their vehicles. Grills... or whatever those damn things are that people put in their mouth. Over-use of words: like, homie, it ain't nothin' but a thang, it's all good. Flat billed hats, Ed Hardy, etc., etc.

You are not supposed to use nair in the bikini zones it says that on the packaging 2.I am allergic to Nair lol it burns my skin and turns bright red and actully burns off my skin.

There is a special Bikini Zone Nair! I know, as I have it in my bathroom this very moment. Bummer on the allergy though.

NOT FAIR!! lol I couldn't be allergic to something normal like broccoli I get something dumb and usuful like Nair.
OliveOyl Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I use an electric trimmer made for bikini areas. Works great. Trims close but not as close a razor, which gives razor bumps and itches like **** a few days later.
